Shameless Flickr contact whoring! →[More:]
I'm going to somehow try to keep it under 3000 (what's up with that?), but I'm noticing we have lots of new members round these parts, and I want you all to be my flickr buddies. Click and add me. K? K.

You should also add yourself to this page if you're not already there. I'm also going to be going through that page and adding people I haven't already.

Just got the email that says that I have to use my yahoo ID in flickr soon. I have admittedly been snobbish about this.

Dear peoples of the intertubes. I read the FAQ at flickr about the old skool vs yahoo crap. And it seems to me the only real change taking place is the name you use to log in with. They're not changing your flickr username.

If you add me as a contact on flickr you gain access to badly out of focus shots of my dog. Which is. TOTALLY AWESOME. (the info is on the wiki page for flickrifficfuntimes.)

I got a bit squicked out by this, too. I hate to think that it is a snobbishness thing, but fear that it is. What's the point in being an early adopter if there is no visible sign of it?

Heh, at least it wasn't just me doing that. I've gone from 80-something contacts to 118.

Okay, now I've to add my Flickr address to our page, click to show changes, but never find my name after. I admit I am just not that good at computers ( I basically want it to read my mind and just do what I want). So, I swallow my pride, and ask you for directions. thanks!
