The only thing sadder than this must be the living in the heads of those two twisted kids. Or if the puppy had survived and completely lost his faith in humankind.

Can we... I have no way of saying this without sounding ridiculously schoolmarmish, but it would be nice if people posting disturbing "animal gets killed or maimed in horrible way" stories could put a bit of warning on the links, please?

Second occhiblu's (now granted) request. I clicked on the link earlier, and simply couldn't stomach what I read. I have this vicious kill-burn-slash reaction to stories of humans abusing animals.

So, thanks occhiblu for asking for it, and arse_hat for making it happen. I don't feel like I'm a frequent enough contributor (although an addicted reader) to ask for this to be a standard feature, but maybe it's something to think about, perhaps by the admins, but more feasibly by posters.

Lassie, I love the thought of you as a collie, wide-eyed and trustworthy and stalwart, tossing your head disdainfully at stories of animal abuse. Hee.

Also, though I read only the first half-sentence of the article, I do have to agree with the conclusion of "WHAT THE FUCK." Jesus.
