This one reminds me of the Space Obelisk in Moscow (which is one of the most impressive pieces of sculpture I've ever seen, it's breathtaking.)

Cool, loq. I saw SpaceShipOne launch a few years ago (I don't think it was the qualifying launch, but maybe a pre-qualifier?) The vibe was just incredible - a whole bunch of space dorks, ages 0-80, who had to drive at least 3 hours to the middle of the desert, just hanging out. Awesome, in the truest sense of the word. Maybe I'll try to dig up some pictures and post em.
