I was thinking about how I missed you guys. But then I started thinking about how I might just miss being around all the time, and going back and forth with the folks who were here when. No reflection on anyone here, just a reflection. I just don't feel the pulse anymore. I think I'm going to walk down to the Battery and look at the water. Stay well. I expect I'll be gone a long time.

Look, if you're going to go because you're just not feeling it anymore, that's sad and we'll miss you.

But why make a big ole front page post about it? You want people to give you a goodbye party? Pat you on the back? Say "Sorry we think your friend is annoying sometimes and maybe a week to chill out would be good?" Try and plead with you to stay?

Sheesh.

Suddenly this is starting to feel like a certain blue place. That's really too bad. I'm putting down a folding chair, raising up the drama resistant umbrella and hoping the sunshine, bunny pics and light-heartedness return. Someone behaved like an ass, the ass got spanked.

Hugh has a lot more going on than just the jonmc drama, alicesshoe, things that are immeasurably sad by anyone's standards, and I suspect dano thought a thin skin reference was inappropriate in that context.
