Maybe you were joking, but I know that Richard Thompson has recorded it. Someone (kenko, I think) posted the mp3 ages ago.

I remember downloading an MP3 of this song some time ago here, but it was a pretty poor bootleg of it. This is the first professionally taped version of it that I've come across. I was hoping it would have shown up on the box set like Substitute, and Alexander Graham Bell did, but alas...
