Who's watching football today? [More:]

I just want to say that I think Rex Grossman is a dipshit.
I'm working and it's on in the background.

Agreed about Rex Grossman though.

Oh how I want the Colts to lose their game.

If the Saints win the Super Bowl, does that make up for the hurricane?

Reggie Bush!!

I watched Arsenal come back to beat Manchester United, and was very pleased with the result.

Then turtlegirl and I went snowshoeing in the woods on our land. When we got back we had hot chocolate.

I now have the Bears/Saints game on in the background, but can't say it is nearly as exciting as the rest of my day. I am more interested in the AFC game. (Although Reggie Bush just made a HUGE score to pull the Saints to within 2, so maybe this game isn't a wash yet.)

Can't say I agree with gaspode. I'd like to see Peyton get to the Super Bowl this year, because I am not sure if he will get another chance. Brady has had plenty of opportunities... and I don't like Bill Belichick. Sorry Pat's fans.

I'm neutral about the Patriots. I just want to see the Colts lose. Nothing against Peyton M. - I think he's great. I just can't support the Colts. Ever.

I guess I could turn it on with the sound down, although I have absolutely no clue what happened this year.

Oh, that's right. You used to live in Baltimore...

Not watching, listening to. Way it was meant to be.
Chicago / New Orleans I don't care so much, but I'll be hoping to see Indy go down.

I am! I'm watching football today! Bush is fierce, and yeah, Rex is kind of a douche, but, Bears + Superbowl? That'd be awesome. And, you know, if we lose, I can still root for the Colts.

Ahh, this would be American Football - like Rugby but with padding for the players. Wussies!

Bob Irsay is dead. Art Modell is dead. All you Ballimoreans and Clevelanders need to get over it. ;)

Bears/Saints game turned sloppy. Looks like Chicago is going to Miami. I just hope it isn't a rematch of the 1985 game.

TheDonF: I mentioned the awesome match between Arsenal and ManUre, so it isn't all American football. ;)

Wow, the Saints really sucked. I'm rooting for Indianapolis in the next game (sorry, gaspode).

I'm not watching, but I'm rooting for the Colts because I love Tony Dungy!

Word up to that. We'll see!

I have to root for the Patriots, because the husband is a huge fan, huge. He's from New Hampshire. I love Tony Dungy also, so I will secretly root for the Colts. I think it would be neat to see Lovie Smith and Dungy together at the Super Bowl.

Tony Dungy? That's the cute guy wearing the headset, right? Yum...

I'm surprised Grossman wasn't out there sucking on his thumb. He looked totally lost. Frankly, it's amazing they won despite him.

Death to the Patriots. Nobody that let Miami beat them this season deserves to come down here again. Not that I really like the Colts either, but I'm more sick of Brady than Manning.

(Plus I think it would be kinda neat to have two African-American coaches face off in the Super Bowl [NOT RACIST])

Peyton Manning sucks tonight. I'm depressed.

I take it back. He doesn't suck.

Football makes my head hurt. I'm paying attention to the Colts/Patriots game just because I live in Indianapolis (well okay, technically I am not IN Indianapolis but I am just south of it) and it would be nice for one our teams to make it to the big game without choking at the game before the big game, for once. And anyway. I checked the score and it was Patriots 21 - Colts 3. And so I went and played with my dog in the snow for like 3 minutes and it was tied when I came back. So then I went away again and now it's tied AGAIN. And I kind of feel like I shouldn't check the score again because I'm probably going to jinx it. Or something.
