the best horatio scene EVER [More:]

david caruso and csi miami have been discussed here several times. well here is what everything has built up to. you'll laugh, you'll cry. you'll poop yourself.

watch all of it. the moneyshot is in the last thirty seconds or so.

he fucking WALKS from the car and puts his sunglasses on while doing it. and then that line. my god it's just perfect.
here is just the last part (audio is out of sync in the first clip although it shows what leads up to his little moment of the most perfect cheese any mouse could dream of)

That's the most hilariously awful thing I've seen in a while.

Sheezus... I took a moment out of watching Stargate to load that up and even I think it was cheesy :D

Wow. I would never want to look that fucking stupid and yet I would like to have a big pile of cash.

If you are a key character in a network series you get a minimum wage of $60K per episode. If you do 20 episodes per season that's $1.2M per year. That does not include your residuals on rebroadcasts and syndication. If you have sway and can get some producer credit that is another $60K per episode + the back end. If you have talent and or star power you may also pick up director and writer credits with the resultant payment and back end.

So if you are a little bit popular on a little bit popular series you can do a couple of million a year for 4 to 7 years from your series's first run. As the series dies out, your residuals and DVD income picks up. You get canceled by the network and things slowly dwindle. Still, in a decade a key actor in an marginal series can earn more than 20 million dollars.

A wise women told me "You are bright and talented and aggressive enough to get rich but you won't because you won't let go of your dignity."

I really need to learn to look that stupid.

That rocked, like he'd take the time to take off his glasses in a car that's about to blow.
It's all about suspension of disbelief, people, and I did some serious suspending!

I was going to say the best Horatio scene is any scene he's not in, but this is definitely Number Two. Pun intended.

HAHAHAHAHA, awesome. I went on a date once with a guy who'd been a writer for CSI, and he said Caruso's wooden acting was a running joke among the crew -- the writers would even compete to put the most ridiculous lines into the script to see just how deliciously badly he could deliver them.

This is the first scene of CSI I've seen, and your story seems very plausible, scody.
