Attention aspiring Botticellists... →[More:]

The Botticelli game is fun, no? Both Miko and brina have suggested playing in IRC. Good idea.

The last time we tried to do something like that in IRC, the people who were just there to chat kept tripping over the people who were playing the game, and vice versa.

So, I've set up a separate channel for the Boticelli game. You can access it from #bunnies by typing "/join #botticelli".

That way, bunnies can play and/or bunnies can chat, but you don't have to annoy one group with the other.

Works for everyone?

thanks mudpuppie, that sounds awesome. fwiw I was lurking in the Botticelli thread because I was fascinated with the play-by-play but lacking a college edumacashun i wasn't really able to follow along or provide lucid answers.

I confess, I was also lurking. It feels like a casino - everything moves too fast for me. I could probably play, but I'd be too slow for the good of the game. I also plan to lurk tonight...

IRC scares me. It's full of grouchy nerds who say things like FOR THE LAST TIME, blah de blah blah I WRITE THESE GUIDES AND NO ONE READS THEM when you make a mistake (because you never go on IRC, because there are grouchy etiquette nerds.)
