I wear these shoes to work every day, because they're cheap enough to get all dirty and scuffed if I need to, and they make nice girly clicky noises when I walk around on cement.
Our apartment's bedroom is in some kind of weird sonic vaccuum because we can hear all the noise on the sidewalk clear as day even three stories up. Those clicky noises travel. If it's a croup of women they kind of sound like a team of clydesdales.
Black size 13 DM shoes, about 3 years old, heals worn down, very comfy but really need replacing. Slightly marked with mud from the walk to work this morning. I would replace them, but I hate the pain of wearing in a new pair of DMs.
I'm wearing old brown boots, with a square three inch heel and a half inch platform. They're a little beat and sturdy for the office, but I'll only be here half the day.
I'm wearing tanker boots (a type of combat boot without laces) that I originally got when I needed to dress business casual but didn't want to have to worry about shoe laces. Now, I wear them when there's snow on the ground.
The office shoe of power here is something like this.
I like and try to wear heels to work, but not pointy heels. Surprisingly, the toes are not the issue (the points are past your toes). It's all about balancing on the heels.
There is a certain awe one inspires by being able to walk smartly through the halls in those pointy babies, though.
I'm wearing these, Ariat Santa Cruz shoes (black ones), which I bought at the Walking Store in the Aladdin in Vegas in September. They're intensely comfortable and supportive. Tuesdays are usually a long day for me, I leave home at 6am and don't get home until 8pm, so I need to have good shoes on.
Odd thing: aside from bedroom slippers and an old pair of engineer boots I used to wear as a teenager, I feel intensely strange wearing shoes without laces, like they're going to come off or something. Just like if I wear any trousers besides jeans, I feel like I'm wearing a dress.
i have no idea what they are, but they're some kind of outdoorsy hiking shoe thingies that i bought at an outlet mall in boone, nc, for $20. the color is sort of a cross between forest green and olive drab. earth tones. perfect for downtown asheville.
I am wearing fabulous old boots. 3 year olds. Black, flat, mid-calf, leather with nylon patches. A few days a go I noticed a hole at the bottom. I am in denial :(
I desperately need new shoes. The black slip-on flats I'm wearing have a hole in the seam of the right toe. If it snows later, my sock will get wet. : (
Why is there a leg behind OJ's leg?
The mysterious severed body part is how you know it's really OJ.
I'm barefoot right now because I like to fulfill cliches. When I leave the house, I wear my Timberland sport clog thingies because they're only ones I can get on by myself. (I'm so very, very pitiful.)
I love those shoes, Lunatic Fringe! Sciurus has nice taste.
A pair of black leather Oxfords like this (the one on the right). Yes, I am at work; yes the dress is quite formal where I work. They are lovely shoes though. When I get home I am changing into a knackered old pair of dark blue Adidas Campus which are the comfiest shoes I own.
Heh, at home I have almost the exact same clogs as essexjan (I love Ariats, they are so comfy) and almost the exact same boots as trondant except with slightly pointier toes (and puppy scars.)
I will be wearing my beyond-slick new Bostonian Classics (they're either the first ones or the last ones) to the final of three job interviews this morning. Apparently, they have girl-melting powers. Wonder what job-getting powers they have, though.
I'm in slippers at the moment, but when I head out later I'll probably wear the beat-up old Dayton lace-ups my uncle gave me. I love those boots. They're probably older than I am, and they have the shifter scars from when he used to ride. Apparently they used to be black. Although looking outside, I may have to go with gumboots. *sigh*
A pair of black suede ankle boots, plain, squared off toe, and about a two inch heel. Every day I work I wear sneakers or work boots, so on my days off I practically dress up.
Now I want a pair of Ariats!
I love love love those boots jrossi4r has bought but could never wear anything like those due to having calves like Wayne Rooney's.
I aspire to own a pair of Harley-Davidson boots but every time I look at the websites that sell them I am overcome with confusion at which ones I want.
Some nice looking shoes 'n boots here indeed. But what folks¿ Only one pair¿
I'm padding about in bare feet wearing these...no heels like the image, same style...totally flat sole, Indoor slippers.
Now that we have snow and for camping, Winter-Altra Industrial Safeguard Mid-cut CSA Hiker ]scroll to second column, boot in the center[ Yep, Canadian Tire, always get them on sale for $50.00, cheap and cheerful.
Then there are the three pairs of cowboy boots, 1] all black, 2] all brown suede and 3] black with brown ostrich toe. Love 'em, they feel like slippers.
Cool shoes, mygothlaundry!
I love the zippers on the sides.
I usually wear Lee Cooper sandals whenever I go out. I got into the habit of wearing slipper type footwear when I moved here; it’s great for the feet, very light and airy, and it’s pretty hassle free as far as putting them on is concerned.
Alicesshoe, just so you know, jrossi isn't wearing her birthday boots as she's very pregnant right now and not well balanced. Heels like those would just tip her right forward.
