COIL Are any of you bunnies fans of the band Coil? Or better yet, are you curious about them?[More:]
I have a young friend who wanted to hear them, and since their stuff can be difficult to find, I made him a DVD-R with every Coil album I own on it (27 in all) in MP3 format. I still have it all on my hard drive, and thought I'd share with y'all if anyone is interested.

I have a box of 9 more blank DVD-Rs here, so if you'd like one full of Coil stuff, drop me an email at BP(at)3dhighway(dot)com and I'll mail one to you. If you like it, buy something from the (surviving members of) the band down to road, to keep that karma balanced. :)
OMG how awesome you are! I am sending you an email!

Cool! I've liked Coil for oh, twenty years now, and there's loads that I don't have.

Very very cool. A copy to Zack or myself could be re-copied for the other of us. I've sent you an email.

For years I only knew Coil from the video of their killer cover of "Tainted Love", which I think I first saw on a video show called Snub. I amazed to eventually find out that not only was everything they did not dirgey slow, but how diverse their songs were. I'm far from having heard everything they've done, but I've everything I've heard so far is worth hearing!

Coil is easily one of the most influential bands of the last 3 decades. They've done numerous uncredited remixes, soundtrack work and more, not to mention that they've been the secret background influence on hundreds if not thousands of current, successful bands. Their range and diverseness is pretty much unparalled even today, experimental or not.

That said, BP, can I get a direct transfer? AIM? YSI? Soulseek? SCP? SSH? FTP?

Sorry, loq, I don't have a spare month to spend uploading all this... but if you want a disc, lemme know.

I'm so glad to find out there are bunnies who like Coil! I honestly thought this might not interest anyone.

Not for the first time, I'm surprised and pleased at the depth and breadth of bunny musical tastes (remember when people were talking about their favorite Sonic Youth albums? That's another one).

BP - I mentioned Lustmord as they're very Coil-like. Here's a few tracks to see what you think.
(album/title)
"Metavoid" - Blood Deep In Dread
"The Place Where The Black Stars Hang" - Dog Star Descends
"Zoetrope" - End Titles
