I hate Pachelbel's Canon in D (I mean, I don't, but this guy does.)
Resistance to Pachelbel's Canon in D is growing in the general populace, due to it being a widely selected ringtone on cell phones. What a crappy idea musical ringtones on cellphones have turned out to be.

It was fine back when only us geeks could figure out how to program our own custom tunes in, or how to encode a sound file properly and transfer it to the phone. Because we've got good taste.

It is better than sine-wave one voice versions of Toccata und Fugue, D-moll. Damn you, Nokia, damn you to hell.

But not by much, I'll admit. Of course, the one voice version of Canon in D isn't even a canon.

I played cello. I agree. I also hate that little flourish thing they tacked on to cut Toccata und Fuge to ringtone length.
