I think I've eaten 2 of those in my entire life. Even as a student. They are truly foul.

I loved them for the ads, of course.

If I'd eaten ramen every day for a full year, I could have made one more month's rent! Damn.

I used to love ramen noodles every day after school. Or as a quick cheap meal for the kids. Bless you, Mr. Ando!

Instead of being buried or cremated, he's going to have himself dehydrated. When they find a cure for old age, he'll be bathed in boiling water and brought back to life.

One of my cousins makes a wonderful salad using ramen noodles. Yummmmm.

Y'all know that ramen noodles are deep-fried, right? Lots of unhealthy stuff about that. And the flavour packs are a nightmare of industrial chemicals.

I agree, the noodles are great. I eat them with a spoonful of real chicken broth/paste, seasame oil, black sesame seeds, and a few seaweed flakes.

My kids love these and will gladly eat them dry, sprinkling the flavour sachet over the noodles as they eat them (not the ones in a cup, the ones that come in a packet that are like a hard rectangular block of dead worms). Every time one of them responds to the question "what would you like for lunch?" with "can I have a noodle cake?", I throw up a little in my mouth. Still - cheap, no cooking and no plates needed. I make them eat them outside, so no cleaning up either.

I am a bad father.
