Interesting. The instrumental part was cool, even if it loses something without the power chords. The Indian-language vocals were good, but the kid singing the English lyrics, not so much. That song needs to be bellowed, kid.

jonmc has it - the English vocals spoil it. There's not enough power (here's Metallica doing it when they were still a group worth getting excited about) and the violinist looks (be|a)mused by the whole thing. Still, even on that YT clip, the sound quality is better than St. Anger's production job.

I read this as "An intresting take on Metafilter's "Harvester of Sorrow"!" I really wondered who that might refer to. heh
