Broken any resolutions, yet? I have![More:]I resolved to start waking up earlier; I walked into work a half-hour late this morning. How about you?
Yeah, I resolved to wear more nail polish and here I am with naked fingernails. I like simple, basic, easily achievable New Years Resolutions; the one I've always had the most success with is Drink More, also, Watch More TV is good, although I kind of blew Do More Drugs two years ago, alas.

Isn't there, like, a one-week grace period, or something?

Not if your resolution was to stop procrastinating.

My New Year's resolution is 72 ppi, but I'm feeling a bit grainy already.

Yeah, I similarly resolved to show up for work early (by which I mean on time), and didn't.

I resolved to start posting more. Oh, wait. That's a resolution I just kept.

Um. I resolved to ride the exercise bike for 20 minutes every other day. I'm pretty sure I'll be breaking that one tonight.

I smoked two yesterday, but I don't have teh gum yet, and the first one followed activities traditionally prompting a cigarette. I'm feeling pretty good about this whole 2007 thing so far.

Noooooo. Don't say that! You must have an expectation that you are going to succeed!

I cannot tell you how many people were walking in my neighborhood yesterday. What are all of these humans doing, walking about? Even my next-door neighbor was walking for pleasure and I have never seen him off his property for the 9 years I have lived here.

I will be breaking one of my resolutions if I don't get off of this computer. My kids are dragging one another in a sleeping bag through the house. There is nothing to drink in the fridge besides a bit of skim milk. Time to hit the showers and get out into this beautiful day.

I went to a fire puja Sunday night and still feel relatively fresh. I'm trying very hard to not mess it up. I didn't even attempt to make a non-smoking resolution cause it's just not a good time.

My other resolution is to drop 30-40 pounds. It should be do-able, since I did twice that in 2005 (then gained half of that back in 06).

I broke my resolution to stop eating junk food when I ate the last devil dog. I swear, I did it for the kids!!!!! No one can fight over it, now.

i haven't even bothered to make a resolve to break...i'm sure I'll manage to disappoint myself throughout the year so i'd rather not set myself up for it.
it's so much more fun to fail spontaneously.

Resolution 1: Don't snack at work - check!

Resolution 2: No drugs this year (2006 was my year to try pot for the first time, it's not for me) - check!

I'm in good shape!

This has been my best start on resolutions ever.

1) Lose ten lbs: Last time I hopped on the scale in November, I had gained ten lbs. So my resolution was to stop eating sugar in order to lose them. Yesterday, I steeled myself for the weigh-in. And I had lost 5 lbs.! Sweet! Halfway there!

2) Better sex: Plans are afoot. There has been shopping. There has been a trip to the salon.

3) Get pregnant: See #2.

Oh, and to those who have broken their resolutions: resolutions can be for fun stuff, too. For every virtuous resolution I make, I also make one that's fun in some why, even if it is still good for me. Like getting more manicures or reading more or something. That way, when I'm having trouble keeping my no-fun resolution, I can distract myself with my fun resolution.

I didn't quit smoking. Yet.

I haven't learned how to make my own motion graphics for artistic expression and to sell/give to VJs. Yet.

I haven't moved. Yet.

I didn't make any resolutions, so I guess I've broken them all just by talking about them.
