(btw, I had a very vivid, strange, recent dream that I visited you, along with a bunch of other internet people, during some sort of big, big European meetup kind of thing, when a pile of us went to your place at one point - and I was staying with you. You can't even imagine how cool your place was, sometime I'll have to put it down - you had a "tap room" for one thing. As in beer. Anyway, the upshot is that the baby wasn't kidnapped after all (your mother took her), and even though there were intruders in your flat, they didn't end up doing much damage or taking anything of value, including the baby. There was also ice and snow and cappuccino and a live band. And iceskating. A fun time was had by all.)

Sorry about the Camino, but it's just a regular animated gif, so that's weird... I guess I have some stuff to figure out there.

Anyway, I'm back for a little while, until we go to the afterparty... "after" being "after 2006" in this case.

We went out, we wandered, we heard a bunch of music, we ran into a bunch of friends, we drank a bunch of wine and raki and tsipouro. We ate cheeses and meats and eggplant salad. We bought pastries (for a sweet new year)... and now we have two or three hours before the party. I should sleep. But I don't feel like sleeping. But I should.

The festive decorations look great, taz! Heh--at first I thought the disco ball was an argument between a really detailed picture and my slooooooow connection.
