I am a computer idiot. I have a gmail account. If I remember correctly you are able to have two addresses under one account. I want to make another address, but don't know how. My sister says to invite myself, but I am not sure if this is the way to do it. Thanks for any assistance.

If you click on 'settings' in the upper right, and then click on 'Accounts', you'll see a menu like this. Is that what you mean - the 'Add another email address' option?

You have to invite yourself and set up your new account first, before you can do the step iconomy lists.

I have 4 linked gmail addresses, myself.

Yup, she's right- you have to invite yourself and create the account. Then you can merge the accounts.
