Any NYC Bunnies planning to go to Mission of Burma on 1-19? They're at Irving Plaza and it looks like there are still tickets. I'd want to get there early so I can grab a spot in the balcony. [More:]

Full disclosure: I didn't know much about them until I saw the recent documentary...but I liked what I heard.
Probably. Mr. 'pode is a huge MoB fan (got him their latest for xmas) and we went to one of their shows in Irving Plaza just after they re-formed.

Will have to check with him though. He's on a rough rotation in January and may not be up to going out.

I thought their singer wrecked his voice and couldn't perform any more. He talked to Terry Gross about it a few years ago when he was releasing a new experimental noise record.

I had no idea they were still together. If any of you go, post an after-action for me?

What it said in the documentary was that Roger Miller developed problems with his hearing.
