My suitcase is packed. →[More:]I head home tomorrow, after the best Christmas I've ever had. Only one thing could've made it better.
I've eaten far, far too much, laughed more than I've laughed in ages, cried a few times, met up with old friends, made some new ones and am able to zip up my suitcase
without using the extra 25% expansion space (there's not a whole lot to buy in rural Ohio unless you like dressing your porch goose in little outfits).
Tomorrow will be a long day. We're leaving for Columbus at about 9.30am, doing some shopping at Easton and having lunch at the Cheesecake Factory before I check in at the airport at about 2pm. I have a 3 hour layover in Chicago (I always prefer to give myself extra time between connections in case of delays) and an overnight flight to London, landing at 9.30am London time. Then it'll be about another 2 hours before I get to my own front door.
But it's a long weekend, so I'll have a chance to get over the jetlag before work on Tuesday.
See you on Friday bunnies!
