What's your theme song quiz? [More:] Mine was eerily accurate:

***Your Theme Song is Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd***

"There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves."

You haven't been feeling a lot lately, and you think that's a good thing. The comfortable part is nice... but you should really work on numb.
***Your Theme Song is Fight for Your Right by the Beastie Boys***

"Your mom busted in and said, "What's that noise?"
Aw, mom you're just jealous - it's the Beastie Boys!"

You love to party hard and cause a little trouble...
And you're too busy getting wasted to move out of your parents' house!

*sigh* (that's what it told me)

Back in Black?? That's my theme song? Why can't I have a nice Andy Williams song instead?

Back in Black as well. (Hi, bunnies.)
"Back in black, I hit the sack,
I've been too long, I'm glad to be back"

Things sometimes get really crazy for you, and sometimes you have to get away from all the chaos.
But each time you stage your comeback, it's even better than the last!

Beautiful Day by U2

"Sky falls, you feel like
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away"

*sigh* too optimistic for my own good, really.

Huh. Mine was the same as gaspode's, which is odd because I'm pretty damn cranky.

Back in Black - lots of antisocials here, apparently. Maybe we should get together and talk about it.

Or not.

Born to Be Wild.
A total independent spirit, you can't be held down or fenced in. You crave the feeling of wind on your face... and totally freedom.

Heh. I always have liked Steppenwolf.

Comfortably Numb here, too. And I haven't even started drinking yet today.

(Must be the Introverted/Withdrawn responses...)

Back in Black. But Comfortably Numb would fit better. Stupid quiz!

Your Theme Song is Back in Black by AC/DC

Bullshit! Everybody knows my themesong is Pi by Hard n' Phirm.

***Your Theme Song is Soak Up The Sun by Sheryl Crow***

You're laid back, optimistic, and very together
Like the sun, people feel warm and comfortable around you

Comfortably numb again. This is clearly wrong, as are the other quizzes: Apparently I'm an emo rocker, my pickup line is "I've just moved you to the top of my to-do list" (yeah, schmoove), and I couldn't answer most of the "What Gay Childhood Icon Are You" questions (although this may be a good thing). However, my hippie chick name is Daydream and my Drag Queen name is Connie Lingus.

My life is now complete. Or utterly devoid of meaning. I currently can't decide which. Maybe another quiz will hope me.

Back in Black for me too. Weird quiz.

I got "Oops I Did It Again." W.T.F?

*smashes chair*

Another "Back In Black" here.

Hmmmm....

"Your Penis is Woefully Small", by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Evidently my tabernacle box isn't up to snuff.

And that last comment was my 2000th, campers! :)

So are you implying that those last two results are clearly correct?
posted by chrismear 26 December | 18:43
Why yes! At the next London meetup (which we need to organise unless I've missed the announcement), I wish to be called either Connie Lingus or Daydream. I'll be the one wearing the kaftan and the feather boa. It's such a great look for me...

My theme song is apparently "Oops, I Did it Again." What the quiz doesn't make clear is the "it" which I have apparently done again.
posted by grapefruitmoon 26 December | 21:02
Mine is "Comfortably Numb" as well.

Mine is Beautiful Day by U2

"You see the beauty in life, especially in ordinary everyday moments. And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too."

Oh, god, that's just so... just so... *blubbers* ... beautiful!

My theme song is "Wrapped up in Books" by Belle & Sebastian and no quiz ain't gonna change that!

Hee, mine is "Groove is in the Heart" by Dee-lite. Am I the only silly person here?
posted by frecklefaerie 27 December | 10:03
Mine is "Beautiful Day" by U2. Not bad, I guess. Some of the lyrics I question, however. "See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out"? Geez, I'm not that greedy nor am I in favor of that. I still prefer the song "Closing Time" just for the line "every new beginning comes from some other beginnings' end".
