I'm in Florida, sweating and cooking. Can't wait to get into that key lime pie! What are y'all eatin'?

I'll have regular access to the internets after I get home on the new year. I miss my bunnies!

Yes, love the twinkling lights!

Tonight's menu includes herb & garlic crusted beef tenderloin and a lobster risotto - my take on surf'n'turf...can't wait!

Yeah, I just smiled when I saw bunnyhead this morning. As much as I griped about the little guy in the beginning, I've come to appreciate him.

I'm just having pasta and chicken for dinner because I have to be in town tomorrow for a phone interview/in-person interview later this week. So, no Christmas-y stuff for dinner.

We had the big Christmas feast yesterday, so today it's just the few of us at the farm, we're having pot roast, I'm making Yorkshire pud and roast potatoes again, and there's leftover pies from yesterday (pumpkin and pecan) and ice cream in the freezer.

It's been a lovely quiet day so far, I've just woken up from a nap. I visited George's grave earlier today, his birthday.

It's raining, hasn't stopped all day, doesn't look like stopping any time soon. The cats are bored.

I'm going to Chinatown for dinner later tonight with my best friend and a few of our new flickr pals.

I just talked to my dad on the phone. It was kind of an intense conversation (both of us find it near impossible to talk about feelings, but we need to), but a good one.

We had a nice rib roast last night, tonight is a turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and ice cream for dessert. Ahhh, I love laid back days.

I have GardenVegan burgers sitting in the freezer, an avocado and lettuce in the fridge, and Franz hamburger buns on the counter. I will feast and then take my laptop to the bar, where I will, thankfully, ride out the rest of this evening on a cushion of Pyramid Brewing's delicious Hefeweizen.

The mister is cooking a roast beast (sorry, cmonkey), mashed taters, sauteed mushrooms and I'm making Yorkshire pudding and a green-ish salad (fresh spinach, tomatoes, red onions, croutons and greek-style dressing. Mum made pumpkin and mince pies for dessert.

It's past midnight. I'm awake but hungover. I had a huge blowout at my parents' place. Eleven pounds of rib of beef plus veg with Yorkshire pudding and other stuff. Fine wine (inc. dessert wine), port, fine French cheese (my parents go over to France every year to get it), Christmas pudding, brandy and more (not in that order). Tomorrow isn't going to be pleasant...

Gliders currently chowing down on chicken breast, sweet potato and white grapes. They frikken love it!
