Is it too early for a New Years Resolution thread? →[More:] I think mine is going to be no more negative comments. When I go negative, I don't do anyone any good.

How long do you think I'll hold out before I crumble in a heap of negativity?

I usually make a resolution, but I think this year's resolution is going to be not to make any resolutions. I deserve a break.

I know it's a tired resolution, but I am going to get my body into shape. I have more incentive this year, because we are going to start trying to concieve, and I think I owe it to any putative future fetus (universe willing) to be in best health. Which means 20 lb lighter.

Easy for you to say. 30 lbs. would put me at about 160, which is still a bit heavy for a guy my height (5'9).
