I like Suloni Robertson's watercolors, particularly his Cerberus.

I like bigblueroom's incredible collection of tiny straw men that he made (hundreds of them!), in an ardent political statement that was then used in the Happy Day to Be You Parade last summer.

You know I think it was at that parade that a troop of Armenian acrobats taught them to join together into an 8 foot straw man, a turning point for them in so many ways, but sometimes I wonder if they wouldn't have been happier if it had never happened. Sure, they wouldn't have got that movie role, and I don't begrudge them the parties and the women, but LA was bad for them. They got mixed up with the Courtney Love crowd - collapsed on stage the first and only night they opened for her. I tried to get them to go into rehab, but it wasn't until someone tried to set them alight while passed out on Venice beach that they agreed. Now I'm told that they've left the country because of unspecified legal issues (I'm not sure I want to know). My only contact with them is hand-printed picture postcards with a plantation motif.
