I JUST got over being sick and missing work (and money I really needed for the holidays) and over the last few hours my throat began to tickle, started feeling a bit weird, and now it is so swollen that I can barely swallow and something (right tonsil, I think) looks like it is trying to move to the other side of my throat. For crying out loud. Why couldn't this weird random spree of illnesses come in the middle of February or something rather than right before the holidays? Insane. Okay. Off to bed now, hopefully I will be getting up and going to work instead of getting up and going to the doctor. Gah.

Tell me about it. Still, you sound worse than I feel at the moment. My plan is to medicate the crap out of myself so I'm fit for Christmas eve. Of to the chemists at lunch time for large doses of anything suitable.

I feel your pain.

First, that inconvenient stomach flu/food poisoning after Thanksgiving, and now, a whole week of sore throat and sinuses that feel and smell like they are stuffed with congealed chicken soup. I hadn't been to the gym in three weeks (it was closed for renovations) and it opened last week and I only got to go twice. I'm sick and tired of being sick and fat. Ugh.

Hope you feel better. And ready or not, gym,here I come, dangit!

Caution- Strep throat is going around! Plus, mine started with a sore throat, then moved to my sinuses, then down in my chest. Luckily, the doctor gave me an antibiotic (though he said initially it was viral and had to work it's way through) and I think that helped. It still took a little over a week. So far.
