Suck A Deck. →[More:] I was in the elevator and these two young women were discussing some event in their office which was causing them some inconvenience.

"Today of all days!" one said and then added in an 'aw shucks' inflection "Suck a deck!"

I couldn't help myself "Suck a deck?"

She shrugged sheepishly.

"Hey" I said "I thought I was learning some hip, new slang."

"We could make it hip," I said "I'll put it on the internet, and people will use it and it will spread like wildfire, and tonight you'll be at the bar, and some guy will blow a shot on the pool table and say 'suck a deck, man!' you'll see."

So here goes. Suck a deck.

So is that like suck a wooden deck like you put your patio table on or a deck like as in a deck of cards? I ask because I got a free deck of cards in the mail today. And they suck.

"Fuck a duck" is also popular.

Following the alliteration -- err, assonance? What's it called when you match the vowels? -- "seck a deck" could work, though it kind of sounds like it should be "secadec" and some sort of old-fashioned manly cocktail involving whiskey and shrapnel.

There was a short lived, AWFUL musical on Broadway called "In My Life". The main male character had Tourettes, and he would say, "Fuck Suck Duck!".

Suck a Deck is certainly appropriate when someone falls on their skateboard and takes it in the teeth.

I used to say Fuck a Duck occasionally. I said it once in the car driving my then 9 year old son to school and he thought it was about the greatest thing he had ever heard and that I was the source and fount of all wit and wisdom. Them was the days.

Suck a deck. . . hmmm. I got nothin'. It might be just weird enough to make it. What you need is an animated .gif!
