OMG!! KITTEN FOP CHRISTMAS! →[More:]One of my coworkers brought in a stray kitten looking for a home. I wanted her very much, but I knew my cats would go off on a rampage of hissing and pissing if I brought her home. So, I did the next best thing: I got my boyfriend to take her. The cuteness!!

Kittens are cute, but make sure to get them fixed. The RSPCA here "put down" (i.e. euthanased, killed, whatever you want to call it) 11,000 kittens last month. That's less than half a kitten for every hundred people, but it's still a shitload of kittens. Christmas is yet to come, so these figures aren't going to get any better.

Eilen is one cute cat though.

But get her neutered!

You don't neuter females, you neuter males. Females get spayed. I dunno why.

I am getting a kitten, if not two, from the animal shelter in spring/late winter. Depending on when they have fresh batches of warm kittens for the taking. Erm..

I am avoiding the animal shelter site because I know better than to get one now, considering how busy I will be over the holidays and how fucking broke I will be through at least Super Bowl time.
