Of course, they still have to hook up the bathtub and fix whatever's caused both buildings on the property to be waterless for two weeks, but hey--soon it'll be mine, all mine (for a regular monthly rental fee). It's got a reasonable-sized bedroom, an open living area with skylights, a woodstove, lots of (double-glazed) windows, laundry, deep freeze, good water and reliable electricity (all essential here, believe me). More to the point, it's got a big, weathered cedar deck and a deer-fenced yard, complete with vegetable garden. I've been told that I can pretty much do whatever the hell I want by way of gardening, which makes me very very happy. And I know I saw at least 2 or 3 fruit trees. I'll post pictures when I have 'em, but I couldn't wait to tell y'all.
