Yup, in fact BP I played this for you once (probably at 11 pm on a Saturday though). Joan recorded this for ESPN and a women's basketball tournament.

What's funny is I always heard this more as a Ramones cover.

Husker Du's a board game, and it means something-or-other in some European language. I don't know about Haagen-Daz, though.

Husker Du = "Do you hear?" in Swedish.

One day, during rehearsals, the band was playing Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads. They forgot the French lyrics and just started shouting out whatever foreign-language phrases came to mind. Fucking around in this fashion, someone shouted out "HUSKER DU!"

And the rest is history.
