Vice President Cheney's daughter is pregnant! -- "Mary Cheney, the openly gay daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney and wife Lynne, is pregnant, according to a published report. Mary Cheney, 37, and her partner of 15 years, Heather Poe, 45, are 'ecstatic' about the baby."^*

Congrats to them. "But still, this is gonna be priceless just to watch the collective heads of the religious right explode.^*

In other news, my daughter hears, "That's so gay," and "fag" or "faggot" on an hourly basis at the school that produced this kid.

This belongs in a shouting thread, but this high school is interested in getting as many kids as possible into Ivy League schools, and scantly cares for the rest.

Aw, danf, I'm sorry to hear that. I never let those phrases pass with the younger members of my family. I've been telling my sister for years that you never know which of your friends will come out eventually, so you need to make sure you never say or do anything to make them feel like they can't talk to you. She's finally getting it at 17.

Back on track, I'm really glad hellbient's not the father, but I can't believe he boned Mary Cheney.
