I had my first manicure and pedicure today... →[More:]and I swear I feel more relaxed than ANY massage I've ever receieved.

Now, I'm curled up with my honey^* with some wine, candlelight, hummus and crackers, and we're watching some West Wing, on my new home theater system (which is supposed to be for the new home, but we haven't moved yet because the new windows are not yet installed).

Tell me why YOUR life is good right now.

^*Actually, I'm not curled up with him RIGHT NOW, coz I had to go pee and then when I was done I thought to come post this. I'm headed back now. Yay!

My life is good cause I've got some beer, some NesQuik, two packs of Camel Filters to insure I won't wake up smokeless.

I also learned something useful. I was listening to Cannibal Corpse's "Scattered Remains, Splattered Brains" at peak volume on my iPod, and whenever I listen to that kind of music I get the Death Metal Glare going, and since I had just left my job I was already in a foul mood. As I walked over to the stairs down to the Queens-bound NRW, some weedy little guy almost bumped into me. I barely noticed. He looked up, cringed a little, mumbled "uh, sorry man," and skedaddled.

This tells me two things: listening to violent music makes you tougher, and looking the way I do has it's advantages.

I keep meaning to get my nails done, at least a pedicure. I'm waiting for my pinky nail on my left hand to fall off before attempting any kind of manicure. But I could sure do with some sweet sweet feet rubbin.

If the manicure and pedicure mellowed you out try a straight razor shave and a facial sometime. Very nice.
