my hair grows insanely fast →[More:]
Already about three inches long in front and it has only been a month and a half since I cut it. I had it so short all summer that after a shower it was dry before I got dressed and until it started getting cold, I was getting it cut every couple of weeks. At this point I think I am going to let it grow out to Lord of the Rings length again just for the heck of it. Although it is a huge PITA when it is that long. Really thick and it takes forever to wash and since I typically let it air dry, it is damp for a good two hours except in the hottest part of summer. Oh well. I'll probably change my mind and cut it when spring gets here if not before.

I decided to start putting up Christmas lights but it is windy and cold and I keep sneezing. Perhaps this year they stay boxed up. I hate to do that though, because last year I spent about two hundred bucks after Christmas on more decorations. Really wish I had the money rather than two more big rubbermaid containers full of lights now. Argh. Fucking winter.

Weretable, maybe you'll get better weather very soon. You'll get into it once you start opening the boxes.

My hair grows about 1/8 inch maybe in 6 months. Now that it's finally long it's too thin to look good.

how long (or short) was it to begin with? I read the first sentence and thought you it grew 3 inches in 1.5 months...but that can't be right...can it?!

My hair grows insanely fast too, so I sympathize. It grows at the rate of about a 1/2 inch every 3 weeks - and I know only because that's how long my roots are before I can't bear it anymore and must colour them. I've given up on short haircuts because they're way too high maintenance.

It was probably around an inch long, so it grew about two inches in 1.5 months. It won't keep that up though. It grows much faster when it is short than when it gets longer for some reason.

were, that's pretty standard, the growing-fast-while-short thing, I mean. Once the follicle has a certain amount of weight on it, it knows you've got enough hair to keep warm and slows down. Weird, huh?

Also, my mother always told me that 1/2" per month is average...

Mine grows fairly slow it seems. I last cut it in March and it's just know starting to hit my shoulders. Maybe I should whip it and yell 'mush!'

And complain when your nose and ear hair grow faster than what's on your head. Otherwise, be happy.
