I've got keys that jingle jangle jingle... I picked up the keys for Swan's End (the house I just bought) today! →[More:]The deal on the house closed today. I'm not out of the woods financially yet as the deal for the condo I own hasn't firmed up yet and may not, but for now I'm just enjoying the feeling that Swan's End is mine. I went over there after leaving the lawyer's office and explored my house, acquainting myself with it as it is and envisioning it as it will be. I move in on Tuesday.

Excellent news, Orange Swan, I am so very looking forward to trading our current keys for some keys to a nicer house closer to our old neighborhood or just away from this neighborhood (which has seen a pretty dramatic rise in violent crimes over the last few months, lots of stabbings).

I certainly did when I bought my flat. I think it was the realisation that it would be 30 years before I actually own it.
