The truth about Scientology Also, the heater broke in my apartment, and it's like 65 degrees in my apartment.
If it was July, you would be totally digging that 65 degrees.

We keep the heat at 62.

We do, too, arsey. Even less in the bedroom. 65 is downright balmy.

Hrm. That's what we usually set our heater at. Much warmer than that and it's too warm.

I just turned the heat down to 55 for nighttime, but it's 62 here unless there's company coming.

I have central heating run from a gas boiler but hardly ever have it on due to the armed robbery from British Gas called The Gas Bill.

I might put it on for 10 minutes or so just to take the chill off, but when it's just me here on my own I'll sit with my big fleecy hooded robe on - scarlet, with black pawprints.

I also have a few of those grain cushions you can heat in the microwave and I find I stay warmer with one of those on my feet or lap or even just next to me than I do with the heating full on.

I always sleep with the window open too, even if it's just a tiny crack.

Apparently we set ours at 68 degrees at home. 20 celsius, anyway... I'm not sure what the actual room temp. turns out to be. Right now I'm pretty chilly; the place where we're staying has a shared heating system (this is very common here) and the building is not turning the heat on daytimes. I'm wearing two sweaters and my nose is cold and running.

When we're awake and doing stuff in the house, the thermostat is set to 67, when we go to bed, or leave for the day, it gets set to 61. We have rather low gas bills as a result.

We move the dial to the 70s, but the thermostat never says it's more than 60 in our apartment. I've been tempted to turn it way down to force the cats to come to us for companionship.

I don't imagine delmoi is getting the sympathy he was looking for. :^P

We set our (electric) heat at 50f at night.
