I've never hated a song more than I've hated→[More:] Saturday In the Park by Chicago.
Inspired by matteo, and just a song, not a whole body of work, please.
Stairway to Heaven. The loogans in warehouses I'd work in would listen to either the modern rock station (crap) or the oldies station (hippie crap). Both will play this song. It makes me genocidal.
KOKOMO!!!!!!!!!
I will knock down small children just to get to the radio and turn it off. I don't just hate it, I hate that it even exists. Just knowing that at any given moment it's out there...playing somewhere...*shudders*
And, to a lesser extent, Betcha By Golly Wow by the Stylistics. That one just annoys me. It doesn't give me the Kokomo rage.
Gecko: I'm very sad you don't like "Lady in Red". It's one of my favorite songs because a) it features my favorite color and b) it's the perfect fantasy song for a young girl who sees all her junior high school friends dancing with boys during the slow songs at the dances and wishes that someone would dance with her.
I think I overidentify with that song so much. And I also think that song is the reason why my prom dress was red.
