Ugh. So I just sent an email to the people who decided to withold the $12k we made at our creative conference and put it toward the '07 conference.

Basically I said I felt used. These people told us to track our hours so we could get paid for at least some of them when all was said & done. It's not so much the money that ticks me off, but the general lack of respect and being taken for granted. Yes, I know I chose to put the effort in, and abuse takes two. Still. I hate people.
