Like if I were to describe, oh, let's say scuirus, I'd say:

scuirus is a cute squirrel who lives in Cleveland. You like to rub his furry tummy. He's always talking about his nuts. He's smart and kind and he photographs his food. He likes Bust Rod.

jonm is the friendly dude at the bar who knows everything about every song on the jukebox. Buy him a beer or five, and he'll entertain you for a hours. Buy him a few more and he'll tour you around the neighbourhood, pointing out important landmarks like where Johhny Ramone puked after a gig at CBGB's, where you get the best food for a drunken hunger, where he had his first kiss and where David Byrne bummed a cigarette off him to give to Blondie. Not many know that he is also a master chess player and folks in the parks pack up their boards whenever he comes walking.

Box, my fiancee and I did a road trip to Vegas once. They flirted a lot but I thought it was harmless. Somewhere in Oklahoma around 2 a.m. Box said he needed coffee. He gave me a twenty and I went into Stuckey's to get it. I never saw either of them again.

The hitching sucks in Oklahoma.
