Pam Anderson Files for Divorce from Kid Rock And they just posed for GQ, too (possibly NSFW shots).
I guess mutual love of nuclear physics and postmodern shakespeare criticism wasn't enough to keep them together.

But they both seemed like perfect marriage material. I can't believe this.

(truth be told, I like some of his songs, and she's actually funnier and way more self-aware than she gets credit for. I'm willing to bet they just like outside sex too much to stay together)

She's divorcing him so that she could marry Borat.

Sounds like she's finally discovered the joys of adult rock.

Marriage is a sacred institution that must be protected ... from heterosexuals, apparently..

she transcends show business as a true global icon -- the Marilyn Monroe of our (admittedly sorry) times.

he's grody.

he's grody.

Kinda. Some of his stuff ("Cowboy" "American Badass") was fun in a bar rock sort of way and "Wasting Time" even showed some wit and originality (lyrically speaking), but he fell off big time real quick.

I thought he soared way past his peak with "Trippin' with Dick Vitale".

I prefer his "Balls in Your Mouth"-era material.

I prefer his balls skewered on a stick and served with a nice assortment of vegetables in a semi-sweet sauce. Not to me, though, as I'm a vegetarian.

Oh, I agree he's an idiot, item, but for a while at least he was a mildly entertaining idiot.

I've met him several times (and her twice) through some family relationships. Bob Ritchie is a very honest, upfront guy whose a great dad to his son. He's close with his parents and the Kid Rock persona is exactly that, a persona he puts on - it's just business. He's funny and articulate and values his friends and family above everything else.
His relationship with Pam tears him up, I know its easy to pick on them, but this isn't easy for him (I don't know where Pam's head is except up her own ass most of the time).

He's made quite a few mistakes and will continue to make them, but he's responsible about them and like any human, I'm willing to forgive a certain amount of stupidity for the sake of allowing him to be a man about it.

Huh, you actually know kid rock? Small world.

As for this divorce - what a shocker.

God her breasts are disgusting.

But I wish them well in their divorce.

And now they're saying Hillary Duff and Joel Madden have ended their relationship, too. WILL THE BLOODSHED NEVER END?

Yea, strange as it sounds, I was rooting for Pam and Kid. She must be having a rough time, between this and her miscarriage. Poor lady :-(

I once saw an interview with him where he talked about meeting a kid with a Kid Rock tattoo. He chastised him for his lack of foresight, saying that there was a very good chance that Kid Rock wouldn't be considered very cool for very long and that he'd be stuck with the equivalent of a Vanilla Ice tattoo in a few years.

I always liked him after that.

TPS, I was rooting for them, too. I dunno, I liked her in that "Stacked" show, and she never seems to take herself seriously. And for some reason, I kinda liked him. I'm always hoping for true love, anyway.
