Ladies & Gentlemen, one of the great magnum opuses of the rock era, with a twist. [More:] I admit I initially obtained this for the weird value, but listening to it on the train tonight, it was actually kind of atmospheric, especially the second half.

These guys were actually a bunch of mid 70's session heavyweights* and are best known for their heavily sampled and covered version of "Apache" originally done by the Shadows. They took a whack at a few other hits, as well. It's kind of goofy, for sure, but the musicianship is actually quite good throughout and it's pretty fun. Hope you enjoy it.

*including Jim Gordon, a brilliant drummer (featured on the Layla album) who was tormented by schizophrenia and addiction and tragically murdered his mother in a delusional episode and has been institutionalized ever since

Love those. I don't know why usendit made me get into battle with the popup on a couple of them, but it was worth it.
