I'm so sorry darlin' for your trouble. Be well, let me know what I can do, please, really.

It's so horrible for someone to pay with their life for such an ugly war, but it doesn't make their life worthless or sold cheaply, IMHO, in the end. Medic is a powerfully noble job, it takes incredible bravery. A persons life is the totality of their time on earth and every moment leaves a mark.

It's not something you are going to be able to process now, but I just thought I'd say that. I'm so sorry, very, very fucking sorry.

Orange Swan: yes, we were very different people. he was younger than me, more idealistic, more sucked in to Bush, whatever. He grew up with the marines as the way of life. his dad was a marine. he was a very stand up guy. I still don't know if he's alive or dead. shit. he would be a young guy that i would want to be an uncle to my children. that is a compliment that i cannot imagine improving upon.
