Ask Bunnies: How to print an a5 leaflet in Microsoft Word? Not an a5 BOOKLET but an actual a5 leaflet on a5 paper.[More:]
Leaflets like this are not what I want - this is a piece of a4 paper with two halves of a5 content.

Many thanks. I can't offer much by way of thanks except my gratitude, unless you'd like some proofreading/editing.
File/page setup/paper size doesn't give me an a5 option, unfortunately. does this mean i need to install a driver for the printer?

I get an A5 option in Word (Word 2002). What printer are you using?

Hi Gecko, It is a samsung printer of some sort - a monochrome laser printer, I think a Samsung ml-1610.

Well I'm off to bed, but I suspect the printer is the problem. Samsung's web site says that it prints stuff "in A4". Not "in formats up to A4" or "in a wide variety of formats including A4". So, I'd guess A4 is all your printer can handle. If you have access to other network printers, maybe try another one. If you're printing at home, maybe take the document into work and try there (not for the whole run of course, just for "testing purposes"). You may find that testing requires printing, say, the number of copies that you need. But that would be ok, right? You're only testing stuff.

I don't have "access" to anything. I feel like jumping off a cliff right now, frankly, nobody IRL fucking helps me, nobody says thank you, i have the paper at home and i am at work, and i am talking to a person who is asleep and cannot see this, and i need the leaflets tomorrow.

but, SERIOUSLY, thank you at least for trying..I know I sound awful and it's not your fault.

Could you use A4 paper, print the leaflet on A4 side-by-side so you get two on a sheet, and then, using a Stanley knife and a ruler, cut them in half?
