"Mom, i think i had a mecha dream--" [More:] that i know realize would take way too long to describe. I'll try to sum up:
So, i'm supposedly going to stay with my sister who for some reason is staying at this amazingly huge loft, with kitchen facilities at one end with a music area by it, complete with crazy stereo and tons of music, both audible and written, and all the way at the other end is the bedroom i choose to bunk down in, which looks like some modern aristocrat's room with a giant leather bed and british upper crusty niceties--
--this is already taking too long.
I'll just say that it turns out that there are seven flatmates who are very much there, a bitchy, snobby downstairs neighbor played by Julia Stiles, this is all for some reason suppose to be at or near Cornell, and the room i had hoped to occupy turns out to have three male residents who are sitting down to a lordly meal in that room and turn out to be privileged foreign students, one with a clothing design gig at home, who are trying to figure out how i can stay.
What does this have to do with metachat? One of the three is grouse, and i'm pretty sure this scene with them has something to do with their Cambridge meet up.
It was really an odd, positive dream that made no sense, but i woke up feeling shiny and it is shiny out.
Now i have to get ready to see family.
i feel like doing something truly horrible to my hair, and my bizarre dream wardrobe is as strangely fabulous as my waking clothes are drab.
it feels like a day to do things i don't usually do anymore, like drink coffee, smoke a cigarette, stare daylight in the face--
