I'm a classic non-movie watcher. I really do enjoy good movies, but I don't have a real feel for the medium. I will go see movies that really compell me to watch them: the latest was "The Black Dahlia" since it was a book I enjoyed and a director I like. Mostly I trust friends to suggest movies to watch with them. Movies for me are best enjoyed with someone else, so I'm in general not one to rent or go to the theater by myself. Having said that, I'd watch this movie after reading that article. (And, no I've not seen this)
Nashville is one of the best movies ever made. It's also one of the few movies that had a permanent influence on the way I see the world, even though I first saw it as an adult. (A young adult, but still, I thought I was way past my formative years at the time.)
I've heard of this review (I think it was one of the few positive reviews Nashville got at the time), but I'd never read it... thanks, rob511.
