This is one of the coolest things I've ever had a chance to do. →[More:]
I leave on Wednesday to visit my girlfriend's family in the Dallas area. Her brother works for the Cowboys and has scored us two (free) tickets to the Thanksgiving Day game at Texas Stadium! As far as NFL traditions go, there's the Super Bowl, and then there's pretty much the Dallas Thanksgiving Day game (though I hear Detroit apparently has one too). I don't even particularly care about the Cowboys or the Buccaneers, but this is a rare opportunity, and I am freakin' excited.

Yeah!

Also, hi everyone. So busy lately. Argh.

It'll be fun; you'll have a ball.

If you get there early enough, take in some of the tailgating. Last time I was at Texas Stadium, we got smashed and ate a bunch of food before the game which saves a lot of money spent on similar stuff during the game and concession (ripoff) prices.

I just got back from Houston where I just saw the Buffalo Bills (I grew up in Buffalo) beat the Houston Texans yesterday. It was a blast; lots of Buffalo people were there tailgating, and when the Bills scored a last second touchdown, we all went home happy. (Sorry, Texan fans....)
