Yo, bunnies, I'm back →[More:]I had a pretty good weekend. Cambridge was excellent (pics will be posted tomorrow, when I am not so tired), and today I went with my sister to Birmingham, to the Frankfurt Christmas Market that's on there. It was a whole load of fun, although I seem to have eaten nothing but saturated fats and refined carbohydrate for the past 24 hours!

Tonight's drive home was awful - driving rain and strong crosswinds, coupled with 40mph speed restrictions made for a very long and tiring journey. I'm glad to be home.

Did I miss anything?

Somehow I pictured Joe Famous in a gown looking regal, kind of like Wesley Snipes in "To Wong Foo". Still able to kick ass in heels.

Sounds like the weather you had up there was the same as it's been in Kent for most of Sunday and overnight as well. Loads of wind and, by the sounds of it, I'm going to have a very wet walk to work this morning. Oh, the joy of winter...

What sort of lovely gifts did you get from the pound shop?

I haven't opened them yet. But yesterday in Birmingham my sister was overjoyed to find, first, a pound shop, then a few doors down a 99p shop, then just down the road from there a 98p shop! She bought Christmas gifts for her office staff in the 98p shop.

It is, chewie, only everything costs a pound. There's 100p in the pound, so a 99p or 98p shop is even cheaper.
