Lurve-signs - things you do when you are fresh in lurve. List'em and maybe we all can rekindle some flames in the dark winter..... :)
For example, you wear his cologne just to be able to smell him all day. When he's stayed over, you smell and hug the pillow he slept on. That sappy grin on your face comes back like a boomerang every time you think of him... replace "him" with "her" when appropriate
Love offerings! I used to always pick up something sweet and special for him - a book, flowers, fresh fruit, etc.

Ah yes - also, the need to touch, so one randomly starts massaging his shoulders because dammit, you just lurve his shoulders. :)

yeah... and we used to sleep like a pretzel - if we slept at all. Heh.

I like to think of ways to surprise her - people she knows doing special things for her (like I went to our local chocolate house here in Portsmouth because we know the owners and she set me up with a tidy little premium chocolate package to take to her at work as a treat).

having the need to hold hands, or just be in physical contact somehow the whole time you're together.

that moment when you both look up at each other and realise you're about to say and/or were thinking the same thoughts.

these may not be 'fresh-in-love' moments tho; my aunt and uncle still do both quite a bit and they're in their 70's and have been married for fifty years.

Listen to music you hate but she loves, because it reminds you of her.

I literally get love sick: headache, sweating, nausea, dizzy; iow, all the symptoms ultra-high blood pressure. My ex once said (yes, the one who attacked me with a kitchen cleaver on two different occasions), "Damn, man, one of these days, love is going to kill you."

I remember feeling quite smitten over a woman, so that when I thought of her, my teeth would get all tingly, kind of like when you lick a 9v battery.

weak in the knees, legs feel like water? I had all that. So much. But only ever with him - I never had those extreme physical reactions with anyone else.

I still have the dress I bought for our first actual date - the one where he ran out of gas driving me home - for real! :) It doesn't fit now, but I'm getting close... If I manage to get back into that dress comfortably, I'm so going to take him out on a non-anniversary "first date" despite the fact that the Date Dress is way too short for a lady of my *koff* years, and I'll have to wear pumps, which I kind of hate. If I can find a Spanish restaurant in this town (heh, good luck with that, me), we'll go there, since that's what we did for our first date. Ooooooh, baby - I get so hot when you say "paella"!

Well, she did try to warn you ...

I wanna be in a place like lonefrontranger's aunt&uncle 50 years from now. Weee!

Teeth tingles? Interessssting, never had that but as I read how you described that, I thought of how I longed for kissing those gorgeous lips of his and presto. doorbells-buttons on me knockers. (can a girl say that? I guess so since I just did.) Whoha, I thought that had stopped happening!

I hope you find that spanish place taz. Now I have to figure out a good love offering because sadly I'm far behind him in that department. Bad me, neglegting my dude.

dg: I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sometimes, when I was in class and I thought of him, my lips would start tingling and buzzing, and I'd touch them and smile.

Also, we had to share one of those college dorm room "twin extra long" beds. I still sort of miss how we had to sleep literally tangled together, now that we share a roomy queen sized bed.

I had a gf once who lived out in the country, in a cabin. There were several other cabins, and a main house. One morning, we come into the main house and she states her intention to make cinnamon rolls for breakfast. One of her "landmates" said, "oh, it must be love, then." She blushed, I blushed, the cinnamon rolls were mediocre. The relationship did not last that long after that.
