jason statham is a good actor, and kind of cute too. I remember seeing a trailer for this film and thinking it looked pretty watchable. Thanks for the reminder!

ole shit at the cinema warned of a far-paced Speed derivative, the growled-out Jason Statham hyped-up and eager to run, drive anywhere at
speed 11.

What I got was exactly that, but with a crackling sparkler of a comedy to boot. I was creasing on so many occasions. I'm tempted to give away the best scene, but I won't... but it involves Jason and Amy Smart shagging, and a busload of Chinese/Japanese schoolgirls.

I was wondering about this movie, as I like stuff like this because it's big, (usually) dumb, and loud and so is a nice change from, say Bergman or Greenaway. Think of it as a palate cleanser. heh. I liked Statham in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels & Snatch, and after he did the Transporter 1 & 2, and some others, I figured he was going to be typecast. Which I hate, so it's good to see he's at least having fun with what he's doing. I'll rent it and see. :)

Big, Dumb, Loud and Fantastic. Funny, exciting and it didn't take itself too seriously.
I thought it was a really great film.

it's playing at the dollar theater by my house. i talked my girlfriend out of seeing it when it was at the eight dollar theater a few months back, but i may just steal away tomorrow and give it a shot.
