Category 15 Storm?→[More:]There's a storm/vortex on the southern tip of Saturn that has sustained winds of 350 miles an hour! A cat 5 storm on earth has winds above 156.
Gas giants aren't worlds for men. Clever we may be to spy so closely, but we are puny and our creations but clever toys, against such monuments to size and power. I remember watching the Shoemaker-Levy comet series smashing into Jupiter 12 years ago, and thinking over several days, as rocks that would have ended my world disappeared with barely a burp of the Red Spot, that we would best stand under our ocean of air, and send cameras out to voyage, as we have no hope to match or master such majesty as we can yet see.
