But if Republicans really want to save the institution of holy matrimony, they should start by saving Britney's marriage."

Hilarious, and well written. I just don't see what the big deal is about same-sex marriage anyway. Any way you go, the lawyers make money through pre-nups to divorces. Legislators are kidding themselves (and the religious conservatives, too) if they think kids are better off in heterosexual unions. What matters most is love and respect and caring, not the sexual orientation of the partners in question.
Sorry for the ramble..I haven't finished my coffee yet.
