Gaaaahhhhh! My neighbor has been using a leafblower for the past 2+ hours. It's Sunday, and it's raining, and the leaves are wet, so it's taking forever, and the noise is making my head hurt. The leaves were dry yesterday, and I had to get up early yesterday, but, nooooo, he has to be noisy today.
thanks. I needed to vent. Now I need revenge ideas. Like playing the Carpenters really loud, or ...

My neighbors have been driving me insane with the leaf blowing lately. Of course, I'm sure they all HATE that I didn't blow or rake my leaves but instead just mowed (mulching attachment) right over them.

I empathise, theora55, my neighbours have been having major renovations done for the last month, and there's no let up on Sundays. Today they were having their wooden floors re-sanded. I'm in a small block of 4 flats, so there's no getting away from the noise.

Put a big sign in the window that says:
YOU BLOW

Good thing about early snow cover: nobody out leaf-blowing leaves.

Bad thing about early snow cover: the ones who are out with their gas-fired leaf blowers to clear half a cm of snow off their walks.

How quickly they forget.

And rakes, hangashore — DOESN'T ANYBODY OWN A FUCKING RAKE ANYMORE??!!
Thanks, I'm better now.

My neighbors seem to be intent on using a saw every day after I arrive home from work. For hours.

I hate leaf blowers but there's no way I could get the leaves done without one. Four properties here and one of them has a silver maple that just sheds. You think it's done and it comes up with another inch.

I hate using a combustion engine for this, and the noise is awful. Electric ones are almost all quieter, but of course you need a cord. If somebody could solve this ... they might make a gajillion dollars.
