I think the second song (which is just....horrible) sounds a little like Grand Funk Railroad. Too bad the lyrics don't seem to be online though.

I kinda liked it. It does sound like Grand Funk, but there's a lot of organ, which makes me think Uriah Heep.

Ah I just read the thread - I didn't see that you had mentioned GFR too. I guess I'll force myself to listen to it a few more times...!
