Why has no-one posted since 9:48 this morning?
We're all down in the cellar drinking whiskey and shooting heroin. You should join us.

Yep. Them thar sticky posts can be a mite confusing.

See where it says Sticky Post right above it? That tells you that it's a Sticky Post. Which is pronounced like this:

Stih Key Poest

Sticky posts have a sticky past.

Sticky buns just sounds dirty.

The Google image search for "sticky post" are surprisingly tame, but I'm sure the IT Dept here that monitors us thinks I'm weird for Googling it anyway.

This was an interesting search result.

I just blew my nose and I think air came out of my ear.

Is that normal?
posted by shane 07 November | 14:34
Shane, you are blowing your nose WAY TOO HARD!

You can damage your ears by doing that. And you can force nasty mucus into your ear canal; the whole area is connected.

Blow very gently. Very. Gently.

Sticky post nasal drip?
posted by arse_hat 07 November | 14:40
Did you know you have a little os on each side of the back of your throat to allow your ears to drain into your throat? Did you know that the reason your nose runs when you cry is because some of the tear ducts in your eyes empty into your nose? It's all true.

Did you know you have a little os on each side of the back of your throat to allow your ears to drain into your throat?

Could they be modified to be gills?

*pictures self blowing nose and brains flying out of ears*

*types the above sentence and corrects it after it reads "elf blowing nose" and "brians flying out of noses"*

Do you ever have a conversation like this and wonder if IT is reading all of it?
posted by shane 07 November | 14:53
Elf blowing noses and brians flying out of noses are the best typos only. And because no one is here I can laugh aloud about it.
posted by Specklet 07 November | 15:05
Best. Typos. Only.

Ever. EVER. What the hell is wrong with me?

*laughing aloud again*

I have to do an art project tonight. With a little luck it'll turn out to be Brians flying out of noses now.
